Rooted
A clay form dynamically adapted to a specific spot. Based on this model, a piece of limestone was carved to embody the characteristics and appearance of the clay model. The choice of materials complements the surroundings in terms of both color and texture.
This work is a tribute to the artistic work of my great-aunt Inge Mahn, as I have explored sculpture as an integral part of her work.
